 As with many salvias, the leaves vary in shape but are basically oval.  Imagine the shape of a turnip leaf as ‘napifolia’ means’turnip-leaved!  The branching stems carry whorls of hooded flowers in purple-violet with calyces of the same colour. Turkey.
