Santa Barbara is a Dwarf from of the Mexican Sage Bush with a more compact habit. The leaves are roughly lance shaped, a soft mid-green with a greyish cast and white on the underneath making very attractive foliage.  The flowers are carried in crowded spikes and, which are deep purple-violet and very velvety. Perfect for Mediteranian or dry garden. Mexico.
