After living and traveling the length of the country and the pacific, working with in many facets of the horticultural industry over the past 25 years.  We have come to roost in an extensive garden in Waiuku, Franklin  where we have set up a Boutique Perennial nursery, plants of which are displayed in the garden. Here is also the base for my landscape design business.

Over the past 30 years Rebecca has gained extensive knowledge and skills, which enable her to create garden environments which work.  As well as being aesthetically pleasing and appropriate to your lifestyle, they also meet all the practicality’s that are needed in your out-side space.

So...... Feel free to contact us if you would like some help with your garden or advise on plant care, garden bed layout or general horticultural advise.

I have been involved in the Horticultural Industry in some form since I completed my Horticultural Science Degree at Massey University. Working in Garden Centers, Nurseries, for Auckland City Council, (Parks Department), and in Private gardens carrying out maintenance, renovating and creating new gardens. This has enabled me to develop an extensive knowledge of plants. I am passionate about placing the right plant in the right spot. This avoids costly plant losses and leads to thriving beautiful, distinct gardens. Since 2008, I have been designing and facilitating landscape projects in the Pacific, Solomon Islands and Fiji.

In 2016 I completed a Diploma in Landscape Design, so that I could further my design skill and expertise. Since then I have had the privilege of designing gardens in Nelson and Auckland. Getting to know lots of lovely interesting people along the way. I am personable and easy to work alongside, and determined to do the best job that I can, going the extra mile to get the perfect design and planting for you.

Being passionate about leaving the world in a better place than I left it, I am continuously looking at ways to be more environmentally friendly in the nursery and in the garden design, using sustainable methods where ever it is possible.

To help with design ideas and general maintenance I rope in family. My husband is a builder so is a great source of advice, guidance and general handy man about the garden and nursery.
