Makes a neat tuffet of grass-like semi evergreen leaves with Clusters of showy wide-open, violet-blue flowers with golden centres on slender but wiry stems. Hardy for rockery or front of border. Full sun. Tends to seed itself around a bit but easy to pull out where you dont want it. Southern USA.
