This old Fashioned windowsill pot plant forms a large bulb which sits mostly above the ground which produce baby bulblets. Hence the comon name of Pregnant onion. Most interesting. It has floppy strap shaped pale green leaves. The slightly scented flowers are born on many-flowered spikes of star shaped, white flowers with narrow green stripes on the petals. An excellent cut flower or indoor plant. Keep out the frost but will recover if it gets hit. Grows well in the graden or as an interesting indoor plant. Grown in larger pot due to size of bulb!
