This Praire plant makes a dense mat of dark green oval mint scented leaves which you can make a pleasent herbal tea. Rich violet sage like flowers are carried in dense whorls on strong wiry stems. Especially splendid against shrubs if allowed to make a sizeable clump. Versitle and easy to grow and loved by bees. Moist soil and full sun. North America.
