Winter & Spring Flowering, 40cm x 25cm
South Africa.  A variable species with leaves that are narrow to broadly lance shaped, often purple spotted on the upper surface.  The long flower spike carries flowers which are orange to red, marked with darker red or brown and the inner petals have green tips shaded with purple. Requires some shade from the hottest sun and garden soil.  Hardy to -3C.
