Blue roak bindweed/Ground morning glory

Summer Flowering, 30cm x 55cm

This distant relation of the dreaded weed is a trailing plant rather than a climber although it will clamber a short way through a suitable plant such as a small shrub.  At it’s best in a hanging basket or rockery. It is a very branching plant with smallish grey-green leaves.  The saucer-trumpet shaped flowers are a lovely shade of mid blue.  Very free flowering over a long season.  Full sun and good drainage.Italy.

Convolvulus sabatius
