This is probably better known as the Michaelmas Daisy and is the mainstay of the herbaceous border from late summer through to the winter.  The leaves are lance shaped and the daisy flowers are up to 75cm across.  They all have golden centres with petals varying from pink to purple.  All of this variety are well worth their place in the garden and all make excellent cut flowers.
