This bulbous plant produces a clump of strap-shaped, narrow leaves. The flowers, several to a stem, are bell shaped slowly opening to a 
saucer or star shape and coloured a pale lemon-yellow with a green 
stripe. Quite different, most attractive and not difficult given  
-sunny sheltered position and good drainage. Hardy to frost 5º.South Africa
