Not spectacular although the tall spikes of golden-yellow flowers are attractive. This plant is grown as much for its herbal qualities as for its ornamental value. The whole plant [including the roots!] is beautifully scented and the leaves and flowers retain this scent when dried. Much used, therefore, in pot-pourri. Grow in full sun for best scent..Europe.
